In this episode we continue our interview with Tom Boomershine, New Testament scholar, and the founder of the Network of Biblical Storytellers. Here Tom describes some of the history of ancient people’s oral literacy and how they first experienced scripture as oral performances. He gives us a glimpse into the need for a paradigm shift of how the western church currently understands and experiences the Bible.
